Description
Walking through the gate Bab Guissa you enter the ancient medina of Fes. There stands the historic Palais Jamai Hotel. Beyond this massive building unfolds the intricate network of lanes where an acute orientation capacity is required. We reach a dead-end with rugged walls at the end of which a rustic wooden door opens up on a narrow corridor at the end of which you can read Dar Anebar. This is the name of the Guessous family elder mother. Now you are- away from the bustling markets and streets- in a quite and peaceful spacious patio flanked by four two- storey facades. We definitely get the feeling of an immersion into a riads in fez rich history.
